Ingredients:
Beetroot: 1
Channa dal: 1 Tsp
Blackgram dal: 1 Tsl
Whole Red Chilli: 4
Curry Leaves: 1/4 cup
Garlic: 3piece
Oil: 2Tsp
Mustard seed: 1/4Tsp
Channa dal: 1 Tsp
Blackgram dal: 1 Tsl
Whole Red Chilli: 4
Curry Leaves: 1/4 cup
Garlic: 3piece
Oil: 2Tsp
Mustard seed: 1/4Tsp
METHOD:
Step1: Peel the skin of the beetroot and chop this into small cubes.
Step2: In a pan, add oil and then add red chilli, garlic, curry leaves, channa dal and urad dal.Saute this in a low flame till the dals turn golden brown.
Step3: Now add the chopped beetroot and saute this in a medium flame.
Step4: Cook for 10 mins.
Step5: Allow it to cool. Grind this along with the dal mixture into a fine paste.
Step6: In a pan add a drop of oil and the throw in the mustard seeds.
Step7: When it splutters, add the ground beetroot chutney.
Step8: Add salt to taste.
Step9: Finally serve with HOT Idly, Dosa, etc.,
