Carrot Halwa

Ingredients:
1/2 kg Carrots
2.50 grm Palcova (milk sweet) without sugar
3.250 grm sugar
4.1 tbs Cardamom powder
5.1/2 cup milk
6.3 tbs Ghee
7.2 tbs Almonds
8.10 pices of cashewnuts

Method:
1.Wash and grate the carrots.
2.Take a heavy bottomed pan and boil the milk, when it starts boiling add the grated carrots. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
3.Add the palcova. Add sugar, mix well and cook for 10 minutes till the sugar dissolved and all the milk has been absorbed.
4.Add ghee and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
5.finally garnish with almonds and cashewnuts and serve hot or cold.
